Dating shows are usually something you watch from the couch. On October 24, Garam Masala Dating is bringing the experience in front of a live Chicago audience at The Lincoln Lodge, where two South Asian singles will meet for the first time on a blind date—on stage.
Hosted by comedians Surbhi and Wyatt Feegrado, the live comedy dating show puts the awkward, funny and unexpectedly honest moments of a first date at the center of the entertainment. After the show, the evening shifts from watching connections happen to making your own, with a singles mixer and DJ.
What to Expect
Garam Masala Dating turns the traditional blind date into a live comedy experience. Two South Asian singles meet for the first time on stage while the audience follows the conversation, chemistry and unpredictable moments as they unfold.
The show is hosted by comedians Surbhi and Wyatt Feegrado, who guide the evening while letting the date itself remain at the center of the experience. According to the organizers, Garam Masala Dating has produced more than 40 sold-out shows and generated more than 200 million views online.
Once the onstage date ends, the evening continues with a singles mixer and DJ, giving audience members a chance to meet and mingle themselves.
