Candy Hall of Fame Experience — Coming Summer 2027
Chicago’s Magnificent Mile is set to get a little sweeter in summer 2027 with the opening of the Candy Hall of Fame Experience at 830 N. Michigan Avenue. The approximately 60,000-square-foot attraction will celebrate the people, brands, and stories behind the candy industry through interactive exhibits and immersive experiences.
360 CHICAGO Expansion — Opening 2027
One of Chicago’s best-known observation decks is getting a major expansion. 360 CHICAGO at 875 N. Michigan Avenue is expanding beyond its current 94th-floor experience into the former Signature Room space above it. The project will create a multi-level observation experience with additional skyline views, immersive elements, and new event space.
Bally’s Chicago — Expected Fall 2026
Chicago’s first permanent casino resort is taking shape along the Chicago River at the former Tribune publishing site. The Bally’s Chicago development will replace the temporary casino at Medinah Temple and bring a major new entertainment destination to the city. The City of Chicago currently expects the permanent casino to open in fall 2026.
Sports Illustrated Hotel Chicago — Opening 2027
A new sports-inspired hotel is planned for downtown Chicago in 2027. Sports Illustrated Hotel Chicago will bring the brand’s sports identity into a hospitality experience with themed guest rooms, interactive public spaces, dining and bar concepts, and sports-focused programming in the Loop.
