How should artificial intelligence influence creativity, ownership, and healthcare decisions? The Chicago Debate Showcase, presented by SuperDebate, brings researchers and legal scholars together for an evening of live debate, audience participation, and conversation in downtown Chicago.
Taking place at The Ferris in the Loop, the event invites attendees to explore some of today’s most pressing questions about AI through competing perspectives, audience questions, and live voting. No previous debate experience is required.
What to Expect
The evening features discussions on two timely subjects:
AI, Creativity & Ownership
Joshua D. Sarnoff of DePaul University and Jordana R. Goodman of Chicago-Kent College of Law will examine AI-assisted creativity and intellectual property.
AI & Healthcare Oversight
Maia Jacobs and Manling Li of Northwestern University will discuss the role of AI agents in healthcare and the importance of human oversight.
A third featured debate is expected to be announced separately.
