River Roast — Waterfront Weddings & Private Events in River North
Overlooking the Chicago River in River North, River Roast combines contemporary American dining with a collection of private-event spaces featuring views of the river and downtown skyline. Its waterfront setting makes it an appealing option for weddings, corporate gatherings, rehearsal dinners, and milestone celebrations.
The venue’s private-events operation, RR Events, offers spaces ranging from intimate dining rooms to larger reception areas. The Murdoch Room accommodates up to 240 seated guests or 400 for a reception, while the Monarch Room offers a smaller setting for seated dinners and gatherings. Additional options include the Commerce Room, Moray Room, and Veranda Center.
River Roast’s culinary program emphasizes contemporary American tavern fare, including roasted meats and fish, with customized menus available for private events. Its combination of dining, waterfront views, and flexible event spaces makes it particularly useful for organizers seeking a restaurant-based venue rather than a conventional ballroom.
