Drunk Dracula Returns to Chicago for a Boozy Halloween Run

Performer dressed as Dracula holding a cocktail in a theatrical bar setting

Chicago’s Halloween season is getting a little more spirited with the return of Drunk Dracula, an adults-only theatrical comedy running September 17 through November 1 at The Lion Theater in downtown Chicago.

From the creators of Drunk Shakespeare, the production puts a boozy twist on Bram Stoker’s gothic tale, combining live theater, comedy, cocktails and a little controlled chaos as Dracula and company take over the stage.

What to Expect

Drunk Dracula blends the familiar world of the classic vampire story with the unpredictable energy that has become a signature of the Drunk Shakespeare team. The approximately 90-minute experience is designed for audiences 21 and older.

Guests can expect an intimate theatrical setting where gothic drama and comedy collide, making it a seasonal option for visitors looking for something beyond Chicago’s traditional Halloween attractions.
